Shop Updates

Woohoo! The term is almost over and my applications are all in...I couldn't be happier/more unsure about what the future holds.  But I am very excited to tend to my sadly neglected shop! There will be a slew of updates coming up (I've collected quite a few pieces during my little break)...they will be posted to the shop as fast as I can hem/fix some of them. I'm most excited about my small collection of holiday party dresses...perfect for new year's eve!

Speaking of the holiday season, my friend and I decided to go a little crazy and DIY a ton of christmas ornaments for our tree. We're slow to start, but hopefully when we are done, I will get some snapshots of it for the blog.

Don't forget about the coupon code "THANKYOU15," which will give you 15% off your order. Here's a preview of what's to come first:

Please stand by...

Hi, all. As much as I would like to post and update my shop....I can't! My time is occupied by filling out applications and writing scary essays that list my short-term and long-term career goals.  Applying to grad school is a tough job.

So, instead of lovely photos or interesting insights....I give you a coupon code.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the lovely comments I've been getting on the blog and for checking out my shop! Enter "THANKYOU15" at checkout to get 15% off your purchase. (It expires Dec.31st!)

When all this madness is over, hopefully I will be able to put some actual content on here!

Until then...happy shopping!

Lovely things for fall

Well, you may (more likely may not) have noticed I did a little blog makeover! I just felt like it needed some personal touches here and there.  Hopefully, it will encourage me to post more?

Here are some items I am coveting for fall! It may still be hot outside, but to me, fall started on September 1st. Why is it that everyone gets so excited to wear fall clothes? The very thought of wearing dresses with tights makes me smile.
So...here are my dream fall/winter boots...Sperry Top-Sider Starpoints.  Who would have ever guessed that I, of all people, would wear metallic boots? Not I. But these are perfectly equal parts fantastical and rustic. Hopefully they can get me through a Massachusetts winter.

I am in desperate need of a new winter coat! My last one was from asos, just like all of lovelies up above, and it served me well for three years, but I think it is time for a change.  I just love the arrow-like leather details on the first coat, but the color combination on the second coat is awesome (but perhaps too much if I buy the gold boots, haha). And you can never go wrong with the simplicity of a nice duffle coat (the one shown above also comes in teal!)

I didn't know when I started writing this, exactly how many items from asos.com I am just dying to buy right now. In case you didn't already know, I am in love with polka dots and stripes (and occasionally wear them at the same time), so that burgundy dress is perfect to me. I want to wear lots of burgundy this fall/winter! Lots of it. I figured I also need to expand my denim color palette to mustard and horse printed items.  Why not, right? And as always, I love anything with a good collar on it. The black dress above with the double layered scalloped collar takes the cake.

So anyhow, that's my rambling on stuff I want.  Keep checking the shop for updates and pretty soon I should be sponsoring a giveaway over at Tick Tock Vintage. I'll post about it soon.

You can enter the coupon code "TICKTOCK" at checkout to receive 15% off your order!

Oooh...shiny...

Well, not quite shiny. Actually they are quite matte. But they are brand spankin' new!
Here are some little tags I ordered from moo print. They did a fantastic job printing them up!
I designed them on the fly and made a bunch of color options, which turned out great! So now, when you order something from my little etsy shop, you get a keepsake to remember the transaction by! Aww.

Hey, also check out the blog I'm sponsoring: tick tock vintage! I will be hopefully doing a giveaway soon hosted on her blog, so watch out for that. I'm super happy to be working with her...he style is lovely!
