So, yes...I have just moved! We're finally beginning to settle in our tiny new apartment in our awesome new neighborhood. My college town wasn't well, much of anything, so it's great being able to walk about the neighborhood and find things to do (and eat) again, much to the disdain of my wallet.
Below are some bits and pieces of our apartment. I might do a tour in the future (when it's cleaner), but maybe not since I think the "tour" would fit in three photographs, haha. We did thrift a lot of furniture and upcycled it, which was a lot of fun.
The attack cat cross stitch embroidery and the wooden whale cribbage board were both thrift finds. My boyfriend and I have a penchant for picking up pretty much anything that strikes our fancy...let's just say a lot of things come home with us (not a great thing for our tiny apartment).
Also, for whatever reason, I decided to stencil the doors in our kitchen. I probably put a little too much effort into it (it's one of those "can't stop until it's done" projects), for not too much of an outcome, but I like it.
Lastly, if anyone noticed....yes I changed my blog layout and design. It was starting to feel a little juvenile to me...you know, especially since I'm a big ole'grown up now with an apartment and all that. Hope you like it.
